key responsibilties and accountabilities:
prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent informationcreates detailed spreadsheets in excel to maintain order throughout the manufacturing processreviews shipments for quality and accuracy; reviews accompanying documents for accuracyconfirms shipping details or special instructions; expedites shipments that affect the manufacturing process scheduletransports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids).when problems arise, resolves issues with contractors or vendorsvalidates, approves, and forwards invoices to accounting departmentcollects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environmentperforms other duties as assigned
qualifications and skills:
math and written communicationefficient time management skillsproficient experience in lean manufacturinghigh school diploma or equivalent requiredcomputer skills (e.g., sap, excel, including ms office)excellent verbal communication skills
monday - friday 8am to 5pm with overtime as needed. $17/hr doe. benefits are available once hired on. #topjob
