Siemens pti – trusted advisor for energy systems – empowering flexible, efficient and resilient digital grids. from strategic advisory and technical consultancy to state-of the art software: siemens pti provides a holistic view to master the technical and economic challenges of today’s and future energy systems. power system consulting when it comes to future-proof power distribution, industrial power supply, power transmission or generation in today’s complex and changing energy environment, sound advice from power system experts is essential. our renowned consultants provide comprehensive, systemic grid planning services with in-depth technical and economic power system analysis. position scope siemens power technologies international (pti) is seeking a professional with a proven track record who will be responsible for supporting sales, building business/ customer relationships, and managing client engagements. this position focuses on developing and providing leading edge technical training services to energy asset developers, ious and isos. these services typically include extensive use of digital platforms and other types of online deliveries. this position will have p&l responsibilities over the power academy business. the successful candidate will coordinate training-related activities performed by a team of professionals. the power academy manager coordinator will work in schenectady, ny and/or remotely. the core responsibilities of the power academy course coordinator include the business development of in-person and online technical training courses and related activities for employees and customers. the position will constantly monitor training efficiency and effectiveness and derives and proposes training improvements. attention to detail is a success factor. key position responsibilities perform and execute a defined range of business development tasks related to education activities according to predetermined guidelines and procedures. plan, organize, and direct learning activities. takes over projects to design new learning programs, by involving and discussing content and format of the courses with specialists and appropriate service providers. organizes all administrative necessities to set up the program, both on e-learning and on-site learning measures. what will you do? support business development and promote power academy training services. lead relationship building with new and existing clients. manage client engagements, proposal generation and project management functions to deliver training services, as per siemens pti quality standards. leverage relationships with other siemens industry business units. employ strong people skills and engaging presentation and written communications skills. effective teamwork within a large matrix organization. the ability to travel domestic and internationally what will you need to succeed?
