pst is seeking an outside sales representative / territory account manager who will be responsible for generating sales to existing and new accounts within an assigned territory. you will be accountable for achieving quota by hunting new customers and growing existing relationships with the focus on the semiconductor industry. we are seeking a diligent self-starter who is passionate about working with customers and solving their application challenges. the preferred location for this role will be on the east coast with proximity to the orangeburg, new york area. responsibilities will include :
responsible for direct sales of products to key customers, generating planned sales revenue from these major account accountable for achieving sales growth goals by growing both existing and new customers responsible for establishing pricing and securing new business the single point of resolution for customers’ needs for the assigned market/industry segment and/or geographic area accounts responsible for leads generation and new business acquisition within specified territory improves the profitability of existing accounts by fully understanding value propositions supports and implements marketing plans, promotions and new product launches maintain list of target accounts by generating and qualifying new business leads using crm tool and meeting/exceeding sales metrics conducts competitive intelligence demonstrates product value to new account customers coordinate with functional groups to achieve solutions/ 8d reports for customer complaints and follow up actions implementation of required safety practice in all commercial activities.requirements
bachelor's degree required 1 years of experience in relevant industries prior sales success as an account manager experience or familiarity with thin film coatings or vacuum systems strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical information competent computer skills (excel, word and powerpoint) ability to work in a fast paced environment and work well both independently and in a team setting ability to travel 50-75% (mostly by car)preferred requirements :
