core responsibilities: 



assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll processing
maintain accurate and up to date notes for ap & ar for key measurements and graphs related to the effectiveness of their work for divisions serviced
collaborate with sbu, corporate and division staff to provide timely and accurate feedback to requests for information
assist in resolving daily problems relating to transaction processing
assist with developing presentations as necessary
provide general clerical and other administrative and accounting support.
support the finance director, shared services with various projects and initiatives.

 


qualifications:  



must be an accounting or finance major in third or fourth year of college
excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to effectively communicate and share information, knowledge, and expertise with all levels of the organization
ability to work well with others with limited supervision
excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
strong computer skills including microsoft excel, word, and powerpoint
ability to multitask and meet deadlines
ability to develop effective working relationships which foster integrity and respect


education requirements:



pursuing a bachelor of science or arts degree in accounting or finance
