requirements for the role:

a passion for doing deep technical work. self-motivated to problem solve and learn new things - you will be tackling projects that are new to our team and don't yet have established solutions. good communication skills to work across teams with different areas of expertise. good understanding of how to build and scale infrastructure in the cloud. familiarity with data warehousing, workflow orchestration, and monitoring tools. knowledge of cloud concepts, preferably on gcp and terraform knowledge of data engineering concepts and airflow or similar technologies knowledge of kubernetes/docker ability to write quality python code improving the efficiency of the data science team by making it easy to deploy and monitor models contribute to building capabilities unlocked by foundational data science work to meet the scale of our growth.

nice to have, but not required:

experience with spark, dagster, and great expectations. knowledge of machine learning algorithms and how they work. python and management of virtual environments
