the director of agent licensing is responsible for the overall ail home office support of agent field licensing efforts. the managers of agent licensing report directly to this position.

primary duties & responsibilities:

oversee department objectivesproper licensing and appointing of agents with ail in a timely fashion.thorough and timely answers to all sales questions via phone and e-mail.provide transparency to field sales through proactive status reporting.projects / process improvementsdrive organizational change through the creation and completion of projects of all sizes.create an environment of continuous process improvement in all teams.insure review and completion of full process documentation in all teams.audit / complianceensure that proper processes are in place to support all state requirementswork with department managers to create and maintain sox workflows and narratives as required for compliancesupport all state and internal audit requestsperformance / talent managementdevelop, implement and maintain a system of effective performance reviews, which links individual performance to organizational goals, values, and core competencies.identify competencies required for excellent performance in each position.establish succession planning strategies for identifying, developing, and promoting high-potential and high-performing staff.general oversightmanages forecasting and sales force automation.responsible for analyzing product performance and other sales metrics.ensures full contract compliance and negotiation as necessary.required skills:relies on extensive experience to accomplish goalsclear and effective communication and coaching skillsproject management experienceability to exercise judgment and excellent listening skillsability to handle confidential and sensitive information with diplomacy, discretion, and integrityexcellent presentation skillsa wide degree of creativity and latitude is expectedrequired experience:bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent work-related experience10+ years of experience in the field10+ years of leadership/management experience
