job summary
performs preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, systems and structures throughout the facility.
essential functions
installs, tests, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, and systems as scheduled or needed.
performs utility and structural repairs as needed, alone or in collaboration with internal/external tradespersons.
inspects, tests, and maintains records for all fire risers, sprinklers, extinguishers, fire doors, and other fire/safety-related equipment and systems.
moves items within/between locations and from/to storage.
review and comply with lifepoint code of conduct and all relevant company and division policies and procedures.
job requirements
minimum education
high school diploma or equivalent required.
graduate of program in discipline preferred.
required skills
requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
