Staff accountant - united states, manchester

Position: staff accountant (direct hire)
location: manchester, nh (hybrid)
pay: $60,000-$65,000 (plus bonus)

* premise: as a staff accountant, you would be responsible for the daily, weekly and monthly key accounting functions.
premise: reporting to the treasury manager, you will be responsible for various accounting duties which include collecting financial data, preparing reconciliations, cash management and banking duties and maintaining fixed assets
responsibilities:
* maintain day to day banking functions (payment processing and bank reconciliations)
* perform ap tasks including posting invoices, processing expense and vendor payments
* maintain fixed assets
* manage monthly recurring transactions
* prepare documentation for internal and external audit (assist is audit process)
* collects financial data for preparation of general ledger accounts
* monitor and manage liquidity and cash flow for company
* prepare 1099's and w-9 for new vendor setup
* assist with projects related to treasury and expense, as needed

skills required
* bs degree in accounting or finance
* 2-3 years of related accounting experience
* detail oriented and strong analytical skills needed for analyzing and reconciling accounts
* knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems
* intermediate ms excel skills required
* customer service oriented with the ability for developing long lasting relationships with internal and external vendors, departments and business partners.
