genesis10 is seeking a tac (technical assistance center) lead for our client, a managed it provider in san antonio, tx, for a 4-month contract for hire opportunity

job summary

this position is responsible for overseeing the technical assistance center. ensuring the team of engineers in checking and responding to incoming client tickets and phone calls. assisting the team to diagnose and resolves technical hardware and software issues, user set-up and removal, performs a variety of maintenance, end-user support, and support tasks to ensure end-user workstations and network performance meet company and user requirements. reviewing documents, tracking and monitoring the tickets and engineers to ensure a timely resolution.

duties and responsibilities: supervising technical aspects of the ics tac team, working on continued structure, processes, and training. technical assistance to ics team. go to individual for customers with priority needs, communicating with customers before, during and after projects. daily review of all projects, orders, and tickets. working closely with dispatch on contacting customers and scheduling. working with ics staff in all departments when needed to assist or gather information they may need.
technical skills: knowledge of the design, installation, and support some or all aspects of telecommunications solutions, lans & wans. the knowledge to configure and install servers, routers, firewalls, switches (layer 2 & layer 3), wireless access points, digital and voip phones and systems for customer applications. working experience on all aspects of it from desktop support to server & network administration. working knowledge in microsoft 365 and azure, microsoft server (set up & configuration) experience, including exchange (group policies, upgrades, able to navigate active directory without assistance), sql server. experience and knowledge of vmware, virtualized solutions, and linux strongly preferred. ability to work with it peers, manage personnel and report to appropriate leadership demeanor results orientation, organized, flexible, collaborative, emotionally intelligent, organized (lean thinker), servant mentality, critical thinker, creative problem solver
