we are seeking an on-site leasing consultant who will be directly responsible for managing the day-to-day leasing functions, the renewal process and marketing/advertising programs for a community in idylwood/falls church va. applicant should be inquisitive, energetic, hard-working, and highly motivated to providing an outstanding resident experience.

must be able to tour the community with potential residents, which includes walking, standing, sitting and climbing stairs. must occasionally be able to lift up to 10 lbs.

-analytically minded with the capability to use intuition and experience to complement data.
-excellent interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to motivate and lead a team.
-able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely and organized manner.

-ability to drive when needed.


education/experience:

-high school or equivalent (preferred)

-property management leasing: 1 year (preferred)

-yardi/lead 2 lease/crm/entrata knowledge (preferred) 
-customer service: 1 year (preferred)

●        answer phone calls and emails from residents and potential leads

●        meet or exceed leasing goals

●        tour apartment community and amenities with prospective residents

●        generate and execute lease agreements

●        complete all leasing paperwork associated with leasing activity, including rental applications, background and employment verification

●        produce weekly measurable sales results, including leasing apartments

●        assist in the leasing activities and resident relations

●        attend leasing meetings to discuss status of leases

●        understand and qualify all prospective residents

●        maintain resident files

●        attend leasing conventions and other industry events

●        distribute communications from the leasing office to residents

●        organize resident activities

●        perform marketing, customer service and administrative duties

●        maintain professional appearance of self and leasing office

●        establish and maintain existing relationships with leasing and internal customers

●        assist with creation/maintenance of marketing and leasing brochures

●        resolve leasing complaints from residents

●        assist in preparing marketing plans
