cornellcookson llc, a leading and growing manufacturer of security closure products, is seeking a electrical support technician in our goodyear, az location. the electrical support technician will handle all technical support for the electrical components of our product line. this includes assisting with electrical issues via telephone and/or email of moderate difficulty, troubleshooting and assessing warranty while focusing on providing extraordinary customer support. the electrical support technician will be a resource for our electrical products by supporting the electrical needs of internal and external customers. additional duties include: diagnoses of all electrical-related issues and take proper measures to resolve; on-site testing of product to determine accurate diagnosis and assisting in other areas as necessary while working cooperatively with others to help achieve company goals.

the ideal candidate will need great communication skills, be highly skilled in problem solving and have a keen attention to detail. minimum requirements include an associate's degree in electronics technology, electrical engineering or similar mix of educational background and/or experience. must be able to read and interpret mechanical/electrical schematics & diagrams. a minimum of 1-3 years' work experience in an electrical field with emphasis in motors & controls and/or customer service experience a plus. knowledge in plc/pcb - control wiring is also a plus. must be highly organized, have basic computer knowledge and have a proven ability to work within a team environment.
