Executive director - united states, manchester

lucas group is looking for a dedicated executive director for our client’s growing robotics team. in this role, you will drive new product development to deliver highly innovative products and solutions to autonomous robots and medical devices. you will have ownership of managing highly complex technical projects as well as a diverse group of engineering talent. as the lead for the project, you will interface with customers to help them understand high- level project goals. the team values a startup mindset, a leader that pushes technology, innovation, and collaboration.

this is a direct hire role.

what you will do:

lead a cross- functional team through complete development cycle to release to manufacturing oversee and manage operations of teams to ensure goals are communicated properly to customers lead by example, showing strong work ethic and the desire to push technology deploy robots to test area, conduct skill transitions to transfer bots to engage with the correct internal team to ensure info is properly communicated to customers 

skills needed

10+ years of experience as a project manager strong familiarity with autonomous robots ml and robotics experience experience with complex software/hardware systems creating and executing schedules and timelines to ensure a successful project launch

highly preferred experience (not required) 

experience managing contracts and interfacing with customers creating and executing schedules and timelines to ensure a success project launch hands on leader, able to adapt and a desire to always learn something new
