summary:
the product support representative researches, evaluates, develops and tests components and equipment used in heavy equipment and heavy trucks. this involves system analysis and troubleshooting on mechanical and/or electrical systems. you will also work closely with engineering, manufacturing and all customer support departments at the factory and at the branches in the field.
this is an after sales customer support position that involves travel. we are looking for an engineer or technical applicant that can troubleshoot, has excellent hydraulic, mechanical or electrical background. can review equipment functional data and statistical analysis. must have ability to travel.
requirements:
bachelor's degree in a related field and 3-5 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. must be able to obtain electrical certification in high, medium and low voltage must be experienced with database software, design software, project management software, spreadsheet software word processing software and sharepoint. understanding of the design principals of large electric drive heavy trucks understanding of the design principles of hydraulic systems on off-road heavy trucks understanding of structural inspection and repair processes knowledge of mathematical concepts such as statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. excellent verbal and written communication skills. great problem solving skills ability to travel nationally and internationally 40-60% of the time for up to 4 weeks duration must have valid driver's license able to obtain a passport able to obtain safety certification (msha hazard training)ctr group has been a leader in its industry for over 30 years and is rated highly on google, indeed and facebook for being a great company to work for. if you enjoy being a part of a great team, apply today and check out our website for more information.
