Production sheet processor (screen print) - united states, brooks

Overview

the position's primary function is to check the accuracy of new screen print graphics and update information in the art master in oracle. the processor insures that all of the order instructions were followed by the graphic artist and makes sure that the artwork, naming conventions, spelling and color information is correct. entered information is used on production sheets and viewed/utilized throughout the company and elsewhere. production sheets are used to communicate information regarding a specific design to manufacturing, sales representative and other internal departments. occasionally this associate drops correct artwork from art archive to ready-for-output server for graphic services to color separate ncaa event art.

responsibilities
verifies order specifics including art numbers, omits & adds, drawn descriptions, roe entered descriptions, notes & comments, size restrictions, and location restrictions; verifies refer-to information enters art master information in oracle (description, size, colors, head sequence). checks spelling visually against the electronic new art work order as well as using spell-check on the computer and against any other reference material attached; uses on-line dictionary, maps and online licensing / institutional information located within the different servers. understands and utilizes the production sheet processing portion of the "dashboard"to filter, check out and complete each art that they review. able to review information on the psp dashboard and make appropriate decisions on how to handle the artwork (edits, maintenance, send forward, etc.) able to review information within the customer art approval page as well. reviews dashboard images regarding the approval of an order before sending art approvals to customers and sales representatives. since the majority of the art on garment images are created by a (scene7 program) and not manually created by an artist, then the following needs to be reviewed as well; checking details such as correct size of art on the garment visually as well as placement of art on the garment image. review essential order information: art numbers, order number, process method, location, art size, ink colors and sequences, garment styles and colors, etc. compare all of the information listed above with the archived art that was created by the artist and processed by the production sheet processing (psp) team. prioritizes workload to insure we are meeting our art complete dates, customer ship dates and expectations, along with event dates, rush dates, and ncaa event or contingency ship dates. communicates daily with internal staff in art support as well as art production. is able to locate information in the dashboard, in oracle and in roe (when necessary). works across multiple work-streams
qualifications
high school diploma or ged or previous experience in production sheet processing general knowledge of macintosh and pc computers knowledge of oracle and the art master a plusto qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the united states and should not require now, or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status
