our client, a sales development firm with its hq in tysons corner, is looking for a financial analyst to join its team. reporting to the director of finance and accounting this position will also have visibility to the c-suite. the successful candidate will contribute by informing business decisions through excellent financial modeling.

responsibilities:

develop financial models to inform decisions in areas to include compensation plans, pricing and new business opportunitiesreview financial and operational metrics to identify trends, highlight issues, and develop action plans to improve profitabilitycomprehensive analysis of business operation revenue and expenses to provide foundation for strategic business decisions and inform investment evaluationscompile monthly financial reports including developing kpisassist as necessary with various ad hoc reporting and analysis requests to support business decision makingarticulate results to top management and work with cross-functional teams

qualifications:

ba/bs in finance or accounting (or related field, with experience)minimum of 1-5 years of progressive fp& a experienceadvanced excel and business modeling skills (pivot tables, v-look-ups, macros, etc.) experience providing business analysis for sales and service organizations including compensation plans, resource allocation, new business planning, and financial results review

ability to work on-site in tysons office – with opportunity for 50% remote after 90 daysconfident analytical and communication skills to articulate complex financial resultsproven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlineswell organized and strong attention to detailflexible team player attitude, innovative, and willing to take on tasks/responsibilities
