Project manager - united states, teniente jubany station

job summary:

oversee and execute all the details of an assigned construction project including, but not limited to, planning, budgeting, supervising, directing and coordinating.   the project manager must be available on off hours to handle emergencies involving the assigned project as well as oversee supervision on a multiple shift project.  the project manager will supervise the entire project from its beginning stages, during its progress and through its completion. 

primary responsibilities:

manage project teamschedulingdirect oversight with owneroversight of project budgetread and interpret project specifications and drawingsenforce site safety at all timesensure quality controlprovide oversight for claim supportevaluate, develop and execute change orders

other functions and responsibilities:

the ability to give direction to employees in all areas of the project assigned.  the role of the project manager is to make sure that every aspect of the job on the project gets done effectively and on schedule. the project manager will demonstrate a complete understanding of the business operation.  the project manager will be onsite at the assigned project location.

qualifications

bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management

15+ years of heavy construction experience

knowledge of all major agencies (mta, dep, dot, port authority)

knowledge of primavera and hcss

professional engineer license preferred
