our client is seeking a quality control inspector .

earn an hourly rate at this full-time position. work 1st shift, monday through friday, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm or 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. seeking candidates with the ability to work a weekend saturday, weekends as well as potential overtime as necessary.

job description:

performs quality inspections to ensure product / component / subassemblies are meeting corresponding specifications for products performs quality control inspections evaluate and organize quality system documentation read blueprints. analyze and apply drawing requirements in various inspection and test situations. determine sample size, selection method and accept / reject criteria for specific situations. use related terms and concepts such as aql, lot size, sample size, acceptance number, switching rules, sampling plans, zero-defect sampling, etc. apply calibration procedures (gage traceability, calibration status, report calibration discrepancies, etc.) responsible for formal training and proper use of document revisions, completion of the device history record / traveler and compliance to all calibration and preventative maintenance needs at their immediate workstation or area (where applicable) responsible for communicating problems to supervisor / group leader learn and apply cgmp concepts (including gdp practices) requires cooperation with different company departments other duties as assigned

requirements:

high school diploma or equivalent (ged) preferred minimum of 1 year of related quality experience must have strong dexterity, be detail oriented and have good hand-eye coordination to successfully build units must read, write and understand english  must have the ability to use measuring devices, such as rulers & calipers ability to work as a team player consistently meet the quantity and quality sewing expectations basic knowledge of microsoft office tools basic knowledge of it systems. if no basic knowledge of it, has the ability to pick up systems in a quick and timely manner ability to read and understand company operating procedures responsible for compliance with workstation practices and personnel procedures
