this person will be a dependable individual with a natural talent to lead and join a field operations crew of installers and electricians.  

responsibilities:

to ensure safety, quality, customer service, and productivity as you oversee the successful completion of solar installation projects.plan, organize and coordinate each job, ensuring that materials and equipment are available to safely and efficiently complete projects.organize, motivate and train crew members to complete projects within established guidelines and timeframes while maintaining qualityhandle administrative tasks including but not limited to recording and submitting all relevant paperwork required on each job.take daily install photos and maintain records for each job.effectively manage all aspects of the solar construction workflow of the project to drive productivity.open line of communication with management and other support staff

what you’ll bring:

valid electrical license in the state of ma (ri and nh a plus)required experience as an electrician preferredexperience in residential or commercial electrical systems preferreddemonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprintsthorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelinesexcellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilityexcellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts with paid overtimea valid driver's license is requiredcan work well independently and as part of a team

physical demands:

ability to lift up to 50 pounds ability to climb ladders and work on pitched residential roofsability to work in attics

this is a full-time, benefits-eligible role. 

$53-$57 per hour. (compensation rate based on experience)
