degree:
- as degree in a science or engineering discipline is desired

experience/"must haves":
- 1+ yrs. of lab equipment maintenance validation in cgxp pharmaceutical or laboratory environment required
- knowledge of cgxp regulations/guidance's (21 cfr parts 11, 210 & 211; ec annex 15; ich 7) as they pertain to the pharmaceutical / biopharmaceutical industry is preferred

duties/responsibilities:
- serves as metrology specialist to support the equipment validation and maintenance program at the facility.
- primary focus on equipment validation documentation generation review including specifications, protocols, iopq, other testing documents, summary reports etc.
- perform laboratory equipment iopq and validation. or oversee equipment calibration and metrology program
- perform equipment calibration or work with external vendors to expedite and oversee the progress
- provides support to project teams on compliance and technical issues related to equipment validation to ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
- provides support for internal and external audits
- performs routine asset management activities in accordance with established guidelines and operating procedures.
- compiling technical data and documentation as required
