Industrial maintenance technician - united states, tarin kowt

a well-established manufacturing company in plainfield, in is looking to bring on new maintenance technicians to their team. this is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity. an average day for this person will be coming in and answering any breakdowns on the manufacturing lines. this company is looking for a general maintenance technician that has a good amount of electrical knowledge. this person does not need to be able to program from scratch, but if they have plc knowledge that would be ideal.

shift: 3rd shift

pay: up to $40/hr

responsibilities and essential functions (applicable to all positions listed above):

responsible for following the maintenance schedule for adjustment, cleaning and preventive maintenance of all equipment, machinery, installations and the facility. responsible for preventive maintenance for equipment, machinery, installations and the facility. responsible for the acute maintenance or replacement of parts in or on the equipment, machinery, installations and facility as needed. responsible for supporting operators, process techs and leadership when problems occur with the equipment, machinery, installations and facility. responsible for following lock out/tag out and all applicable safety procedures when working on the machines, equipment, installations or facility. responsible for using all required safety gear when working on the machines, equipment, installations or facility. performing preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment performing preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical failures in all plant manufacturing equipment perform electrical installation, repair and maintenance in a manufacturing environment perform mechanical and electrical maintenance of facility perform preventive electrical and mechanical maintenance functions maintain and repair electrical panels provide maintenance and repair support for all manufacturing and auxiliary equipment perform preventative maintenance on electrical components for all equipment perform electrical troubleshooting and repair on various equipment and building maintenance using electrical and mechanical knowledge performing electrical maintenance and other duties perform electrical repairs and regular maintenance perform installation, maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment shooting and resolving manufacturing equipment issues maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment and processes performing both electrical and mechanical work used in manufacturing production processes troubleshooting electrical/electronic industrial plant equipment
