position: steel material handler / shipping/receiving
schedule: mon- fri- 7:30am- 4:30pm
$15 per hour
duties:
perform receiving inspection (quantity, material type, damage, heat numbers, mtr recording, etc.)stage materials for welders and fitterstrack the location and pull material to be fabricated in the yardoperate up to 15,000 lb sit-down forklifts outdoorsmove material up to 40'' long.receiving goods accurately, and ensuring all goods are accounted for that have been promised from vendors.recording mtr paperwork, writing heat numbers on product, and delivering inbound goods to the appropriate department.
experience required:
experience with steel fabrication or steel material.must have the ability to drive a sit down forklift to load and unload trucks or both pallets, and large pipe up to 40’ long.candidate must be detail oriented with the product (pipe spools) and documentation.apply online or at our office:
