the warehouse specialist will ensure that the daily functions and procedures run smoothly and efficiently. duties revolve around shipping, receiving, and maintaining inventory. the warehouse specialist will fulfill orders, package items for shipment, and arrange delivery pickups.

reporting structure

direct manager: walter mobley, procurement, and inventory manager

duties and responsibilities

prepare and verify shipping documents. check quality and condition of items in a warehouse. keep the warehouse premises clean and neat. perform physical verification of inventory. maintain, manage, and update inventory controls. handle pallet jack, forklift and other tools and equipment in warehouse operations. handle loading and unloading operations. implement safety procedures and standards in a warehouse. design and implement best practices in warehouse operations.

qualifications

familiar with microsoft office work in a deadline driven environment. ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds 1- 3+ years of directly related experience supporting warehouse, logistics, and/or similar operations. must have high school diploma or equivalent ged. must be knowledgeable with computers and have high attention to detail involving data entry
