office manager
pay: $50-60k
responsibilities:
* assist with managing benefits, timekeeping and payroll, including paid and unpaid time-off
* run and distribute reports
* manage vendor purchase orders for materials and supplies - placement, follow-up, data entry, review and approve invoices for payment
* manage employee records, ensuring all documents are complete and on file
* complete nda forms, credit applications and customer surveys
* manage invoice approvals
* manage it - work with outsourced vendor, new user setups, phone system maintenance, software maintenance and general troubleshooting
* event planning
* write and distribute emails, memos, letters, faxes and forms
* manage and review transactions and financials in quickbooks
other duties as required
qualifications
* high school graduate or equivalent
* experience as an office manager or administrative assistant
* knowledge of and working experience with accounting
* proficiency in ms office (outlook, word, excel and powerpoint) and quickbooks
* strong communication and interpersonal skills
* self-starter and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
* highly organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated with ability to multi-task
* general computer and networking knowledge
* must be willing to undergo and pass a criminal background check.
