as a card tech leader, you will partner with a passionate team of product managers, designers, engineers, data scientists, and analysts working to better meet the needs of our card customers, agents, and contact center operations.  while you deliver on a re-imagined future state, you will also nurture an inclusive, enabled and engaged culture that unleashes your teams to focus on tech solutions.

you will:

lead and mentor multiple teams of product focused software engineers

nurture and grow tech leadership on your team

partner closely with product management on grooming and prioritizing new business initiatives

maintain a high bar for security, efficiency, resilience, craftsmanship, and quality as you deliver in small, quick iterations

promote a culture of engineering excellence and being well-managed, using opportunities to reuse and innersource solutions where possible

bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community

encourage innovation, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, autonomy, inclusion, and diversity

help recruit and elevate engineers throughout the organization

 

basic qualifications:

bachelor’s degree

at least 7 years’ experience in software development

at least 5 years’ experience in people management

 

preferred qualifications:

master’s degree

10+ years of experience in software development (java, node, vue, angular)

5+ years of experience in agile practices

5+ years of experience with devops

4+ years of experience in building cloud native solutions (aws)

experience with contact center technologies
