job description:

experience software test engineering/automation test engineer to design and develop automated software tests for client base manufacturing system factory logix. this position will also be responsible for supporting regression cycles for the application. participates in all phases of the development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing of products. applies computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts and principles in the development of the target application. works closely with cross functional organizations to develop test procedures and scripts, and related documentation. contributes to determining, estimating, and validating the cost and scope of software efforts to ensure product meets project cost, schedule, and technical constraints. design and develop reusable and maintainable automated regression test scripts for manufacturing tools work with application development team and business users to develop and validate test requirements define and execute relevant business scenarios to satisfy business needs investigate and implement solutions to product, process, or test problems run formal regression using automated scripts for enterprise applications and analyze test findings

 

education & experience:

5+ years of experience with bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, it or telecommunications (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in software development or systems integration & test. proficiency in agile development/iterative development methodology (scrum) highly desired. proficiency in selenium, spec flow, cucumber, java, unified functional test (uft) with emphasis in leanft. proficiency in test automation design and implementation preferred. experience with jira, git/bitbucket, c#. excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. proficient communication and organization skills required to interact with internal company contacts and customers. contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects and ability to handle routine tasks. solves problems of moderate scope/complexity. high energy; ability to manage in a dynamic environment. excellent communication, written and verbal skills. team-player, quick learner, proactive, and positive attitude.
