eastridge is looking to hire a maintenance technician to work directly with our client in ashland, ma:

responsibilities:

responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of plant processing equipment and support activities including research and development. 

ensure plant safety.

oversee industrial rigging. 

evaluate and troubleshoot pumps, lubrication, piping systems, mechanical drives, pneumatics, industrial electricity, motor controls and process instrumentation.

work with external contractors on an ongoing basis which includes electrical, mechanical, environmental and regulatory professionals.  review and oversee needs, recommendations, quotes and or bids as it pertains to the maintenance or enhancement of all nnt production equipment and processes.

ensure contractors are trained on nnt policies and procedures.

assess new equipment to ensure it fits with nnt environment.

oversee scheduled maintenance program.

oversee moc program under quality system and provide updates to management if customer quality requirements are affected.

maintain hoisting license.

oder and maintain ppe for production personnel and assess new ppe as needed.

participate in audits as needed.

focal point for buildings and grounds questions or concerns.

use software such as excel and word to perform job duties.

educational requirements:

high school diploma or equivalent.

experience required:

minimum 5 years’ experience with equipment maintenance in a like environment.
experience with power tools.
