adecco is  currently hiring for a claims -clerical position for one of our top clients in parkersburg, wv! the claim support specialist is responsible for:

assisting the claim adjuster answering all incoming claims phone calls. clerical and data entry of the claim/problem processing claims answers inquiries by clarifying desired information researching, locating, and providing information.

 

fulfills requests by clarifying desired information completing data entry transactions / forwarding the claim request. providing quality, professional and prompt customer service filing, copying/imaging, faxing, processing, and distributing mail and preparing items for destruction. the support specialist will also respond to inquiries from customers, including but not limited to, adjusters, policyholders, agents, independent adjusters, and claimants as required. handles all inquiries with customer service as a priority. assisting claims personnel with various activities such as verifying policyholder information, completing paperwork, preparing file jackets, and entering claims information into the claims management system.

 

qualifications are: minimum one-year data entry experience in an office setting. must have proven track record of success proficient with basic computer/keyboard skills. the ability to multitask, extremely detail oriented, strong interpersonal skills good organizational skills, good clerical skills, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

 

 experience with ms outlook and word high school diploma or ged this is a full-time position. hours are monday thru friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. pay for this position starts out at $14.50 an hour.

must be able to type minimum of 35 words per minute and 80 net data entry keystrokes per minute preferred.

public transportation is available

office experience a must! customer service skills, phone etiquette, clerical skills, mail room experience, receptionist, microsoft applications

temp to hire (1 year assignment) to perm

monday thru friday 8:00am to 4:30pm

in person interview 30 minutes via zoom, or facetime

diploma or ged

at least one year experience-, office, general clerical experience preferred, valid driver’s license preferred typing must pass 35wpm
