responsibilities for this maintenance technician job include:

carry out scheduled maintenance work and modifications to machines by adjusting them and replacing any parts that might need service

troubleshoot problems with equipment set-ups/operations

schedule calibration set-up and maintenance of testing and manufacturing equipment, along with maintaining all calibration records

set-up/verify modifications of jobs

install and set-up all new equipment

order tools and get the old ones replaced if still covered under warranty

troubleshoot set-ups on wire prep equipment

design and or build fixtures for assembly and component prep.

maintain problematic parts and inventory along with ordering replacement tooling and equipment

plant modifications/repair/coordinate for new equipment

set-up and plan all major machine repairs

make on – call repairs to keep production moving on daily basis

help maintain facilities

keep production floor, tools, and equipment up to date with repairs or replacements

maintain plant air system

preferred qualifications:

high school diploma, two-year technician degree preferred

5 years relevant experience
