salary circa £23-26k dependent on skills and experience plus benefits

full time (37½ hours per week), permanent

our client specialise in helping our clients to create, shape, plan and implement their brand, corporate and visual identity around the world. we work across multiple different sectors, including retail, automotive, banking, healthcare, transportation and corporate office / workplace. we are a global business and as such we work with our clients to run design programmes of activity, wherever they may be based in the world. our in-house design team is a fundamental workstream of our programme management and implementation infrastructure as well as bring intrinsically linked to our creative design consultancy business.

role:

this role is to work within our in-house design team supporting a wide variety of different clients by helping to provide them with deliverable design solutions by applying their brand and visual identity standards across their network of facilities. the role is uk based, but it will support both uk and global rollout programmes of work.

key responsibilities:

create space / floor plans, elevations and sections in auto-cad from design intent through to feasibility and construction phases.
interpret visual identity / corporate identity guidelines and apply the design principles consistently across all of the projects that you are involved with.
apply space planning principles to the design and make recommendations on the right approach for each facility.
create photo overlays to convey the detail requirements of a design proposal.
presenting schemes for review and checking the design parameters and application principles with the design lead for the programme for approval before issue.
follow internal drawing standards and processes.
understand customer journey principles and apply that to the space plans.
make suggestions as to how to improve designs to create the right solutions for the space.

knowledge, skills & attributes:

essential

fully proficient in 2d autocad.
proficient in photoshop.
proficient in indesign

strong attention to detail and focus on task completion.
understand and interpret a customer journey.
excellent organisational skills, focused and the ability to multi-task, prioritise projects and meet deadlines in an ever changing, fast paced environment.

desirable

experience in commercial space planning.
experience in 3d studio max, and revit.
experience in sketch up.
experience in adobe illustrator
