we are searching for qualified cath lab techs for our busy acute care hospital in sparks, nv. please see below job description and apply if interested:
responsibilities
•provides direct patient care in the cardiovascular lab
•possesses ability to scrub and circulate on all procedures in the cardiovascular lab
•communicates continuously with physician about patient condition
qualifications
•graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular technology
•certified in cardiovascular technology
•credentialed registered cardiovascular invasive specialist (rcis) through cardiovascular credentialing international
36 hours of continuing education is required to maintain active registry status
•documentation of a minimum of two (2) years of cardiac cath laboratory work experience
•current bls certification
•current acls certification
•willing to take call /standby in the cardiovascular lab
•actively participates in performance improvement and continuous quality (cqi) improvement activities
