It support / service desk technician - united kingdom, huddersfield, west yorkshire
the company is a small growing technology company specialising in cyber security & it support for smb customers in the yorkshire area.
due to expansion, they are seeking a it support / service desk technician to join their team.
main responsibilities:
- provide support to customers via telephone, email and remote control for the range of services and products
- occasional site work
- diagnose and resolve customers' problems whilst providing an excellent level of customer service
- configure and install desktops, servers, networking and associated software
required skills:
- at least 2 years experience technical support, ideally in a helpdesk environment to a customer base in an msp environment
- a passion for providing excellent customer service
- the ability to work collaboratively with others and to be open, friendly and flexible
- confidence to work under pressure and manage several tasks simultaneously.
- a willingness to learn and develop
- a positive "can do" attitude
- full driving licence and transport
excellent technical knowledge of:
- windows desktops & servers
- networking
- office 365
- azure

- salary of £25,000 - £35,000
