we are the outlook foundation, a forward - thinking, registered charity that provides residential and supported living homes for young adults with learning disabilities.

we are looking for a part-time waking night support worker to assist us at our residential setting in , brighton.

as a waking night support you will be expected to work from 10pm -7am (we have 1 shift available on a friday) and to cover annual leave.

you will be paid £80.19 for a single shift.

you would provide support to any of the adults in our care and checking on their well-being. you will not be expected to carry out any personal care on a regular basis, unless someone is feeling unwell during the night. you would make sure the premises is safe and is being monitored for maintenance issues and you would ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.

you would perform some light domestic and administration tasks and would have an onsite 'sleeping in' support worker / officer to refer any issues to.

the right candidate will:

support both our residents and the staff team in promoting our core value of ‘achieving potential’.

have some understanding of the challenges that people with learning disabilities face.

demonstrate a commitment to equality and diversity.

experience is preferred, but not essential. (we will request an enhanced dbs check and will expect you to undertake some training to ensure the safety and well-being of the adults in our care.)
