our client an established, award winning leading law firm in the eastleigh area are currently looking to recruit a paralegal to join their busy residential conveyancing department. this is an excellent opportunity to join a professional and friendly company that prides itself in offering an exceptional service to their clients and that really values their staff. the role will involve providing administrative support and assistance to fee earners dealing with all administrative aspects of the conveyancing process.
role: paralegal - residential conveyancing where: eastleigh area salary: to gbp25,000pa dependant on experience
responsibilities will include:
?? dealing with calls from clients, solicitors and agents
?? providing quote, taking clients instructions and opening of files
?? dealing with the return of clients initial instruction form and carrying out all necessary id and money laundering checks
?? obtaining redemption figures and deeds
?? obtaining title documentation from land registry
?? preparing contract documentation and issuing of contracts
?? applying for searches
?? dealing with additional enquiries on the sale
?? dealing with the exchange of contracts
?? all aspects of administration following exchange of contracts
?? maintaining diaries for completion and registration
?? making sdlt applications online on completion
?? dealing with registration of title at land registry
?? sending client completed registration and scheduling of deeds to the mortgage lender
?? any other associated administrative tasks
you will need:
?? good communication skills
?? previous experience within a similar role
?? the ability to work as part of a team
?? a positive can do attitude
?? to be flexible in your approach
?? it skills including ms office
