the role: telcoms experience not essential. b2b acquisition sales experience is a minimum

the purpose of this role is to be a key member of the medium business acquisition sales team. you will be expected to win new logo customers by using our mobile first strategy, capitalising on our rich heritage and using this to open the doors to other digital

services. you'll be expected to deliver on this through maximising opportunities to businesses with typically between 10-75 employees, however this could be more dependent upon the customer requirements.

the role is desk based, but the ability and option to travel to client meetings around the uk may also be required from time to time.

key responsibilities:

* acquire new business customers focusing on businesses with between 10-100 employees.

* delivery of all personal kpi's and targets, specifically focussed on new connections, contract value and profit, identifying and winning new revenue streams across mobile & ict digital products.

* having a full understanding of telefonica o2 smb products and services across both mobile and ict digital services, creating tailored value propositions for your prospects.

* acting as an ambassador for the business and exhibiting telefonica o2's core values (bold, open, clear).

* stakeholder & relationship management - engaging across all levels within prospective customers businesses.

* ability to manage multiple opportunities at the same time, and navigate through internal process and sales governance to meet customer timescales.

develop, manage, and maintain a strong opportunity pipeline to ensure key sales kpis are met or exceeded

key skills/experience/behaviours

* it's essential that you have a proven track record of winning new business customers preferably in the telco or ict space

* previous new business sales experience for a telecoms or ict organisation

* consultative selling in an b2b environment

* ability to drive and define timescales and client decision making processes

* excellent communication skills

* self-motivated, enthusiastic and professional
