*are you an experienced administrator looking for a varied and responsible role?*

we currently have an exciting opportunity for an hr administrator to join our friendly people team in bw legals modern offices in leeds city centre. this is a fantastic role for a motivated and highly-organised individual with strong administration skills who enjoys a very varied role while managing their own workload.

this role is a permanent position working 30 hours per week, monday to friday. the full time equivalent salary for the role is between gbp21,000-gbp24,000, depending on your skills and experience.

we are able to offer some flexibility on working hours and are happy to consider different variations, for example 8:30am 2:30pm or 9:00am 3:00pm. we would also consider reducing the contracted hours to 25 hours per week if required to facilitate school hours (i.e. 9:30am 2:30pm).

*what you will be doing: *

as an hr administrator you will provide excellent administration support across our people and culture department, including the full employee lifecycle, colleague engagement and learning and development functions.

*your duties will include: *

* managing the hr inbox, which includes responding to colleague queries and providing employment and mortgage references

* managing the absence reporting process and producing daily reports

* supporting the recruitment team by tracking the completion of new starter actions, including right to work documentation and dbs checks

* drafting all general correspondence from templates, for example basic er letters, pension enrolment etc.

* running weekly reports and checking data to ensure that overtime payments, absence deductions, statutory pay etc. is correctly entered for payroll

* maintaining the hr analytical dashboards using excel

* providing administration support to learning and development, assigning colleagues to relevant learning plans, adding training sessions to the system and ensuring that relevant badges and certificates are issued to colleagues and their training has been recorded

* providing cover for the recruitment and engagement administrator when required

* producing ad-hoc powerpoint presentations to communicate information

*we ask you to have the following skills and experience: *

* a minimum of 2 years of administration experience

* high attention to detail

* able to manage own workload

* excellent organisation skills

* good knowledge of excel and powerpoint

whilst not essential, previous experience of using hris systems would be useful.
