adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a service specialists position.

 

type: 40hrs/wk. contract

location: onsite - wells fargo plaza, 1000 louisiana st #6000, houston, tx 77002

pay: $17.00/hr

length: three (3) months

shift: 10:00am to 7:00pm

 

summary

a service specialist is part of a team that provides various administrative support to our clients which may include copy, print, mail, hospitality, facilities, and receptionist services.

 

responsibilities for the service specialist job include but are not limited to:

answer incoming telephone calls and direct call traffic to the proper person

provide excellent client service as the coordinator of the clients' conference rooms, common areas and kitchens

ensure clients requests for the set-up and use of meeting rooms are handed accurately and proactively

place orders for food and beverages for use during meetings as assigned

perform basic mathematical calculations using a calculator/computer to accurately figure production time and labor time associated with any copy, print, scan, or production requests

sort, distribute and meter us mail with knowledge of current postal rates

 

qualifications for this service specialists job:

high school diploma or ged

1+ years’ work experience in a customer services field

ability to multitask with attention to detail

ability to resolve issues with professionalism and tact

ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater

ability to grasp, lift or carry packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 75 lbs

ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, or sit for an extended period

working knowledge of microsoft products including outlook, word, and excel etc.
