Mailroom shipping clerk - united states, jamestown (new york)

adecco is recruiting for a mailroom clerk in tonawanda, ny. this is an a shift opportunity with pay starting at $17 per hour. a qualified candidate will have great organizational and time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

 

responsibilities:

sort mail as it arrives on the site.

deliver envelopes to the logistics center and accounting mail after it is sorted.

help shipping sign in packages that arrive via ups/fedex.

sort overnight packages that arrive to the dock via shipping/receiving.

delivery of mail/packages to its proper mail drops.

check all break areas for needed sanitizing wipes/bottle refills of simple green and spray disinfectant.

inspection of hand sanitizer stations (weekly). refill any empty dispensers.

inspections of fire extinguishers (monthly).

work orders that are assigned via angus for miscellaneous tasks.

monitor and maintain beverage systems in the innovation center, spot clean and vacuum as needed.

help with any catering that is needed in café upon request from cafeteria.

 

requirments:

ability to lift, bend, standing, and twist for entire shift required

proven, positive work experience in a team environment

excellent communication and organizational skills

proficient with the use of computers and data entry

high school diploma or equivalent
