Hardware designer - united states, jamestown (new york)

adecco creative and marketing is recruiting for a hardware technical designer to assist the hardware design of a new york based fashion and lifestyle conglomerate!

in this role you will work with the hardware team to create design sketches, technical drawings and create sample comments specifically for hardware in the following categories: mainline/outlet handbags, slgs, ready-to-wear trims, shoes, umbrellas, gloves, outerwear, hats, swim, belts, eyewear, and tech accessories.

 

candidate must have knowledge in 2d/3d technical drawings.

 

ideally, the best candidate would be someone who has experience in hardware construction especially in handbags and preferably someone who has industrial or product design related background. in addition, someone who is detail oriented with at least have 3+ years of experience in the industry is needed.

 

this technical designer must be highly adaptable, extremely organized and an exceptional communicator.

 

knowledge of industry-relevant software such as adobe suites (specifically illustrator and plugin - cadtools) and knowledge in 3d programs such as autocad, graphite vellum and rhino is a plus.
