adecco is hiring immediately for warehouse movers at our client site in oakhill, ny. warehouse movers do essential jobs with one of our premier clients in a state-of-the-art facility, with starting pay at $20.00/hr., plus available overtime. as a warehouse mover, you will follow gmp guidelines and sops while performing all assigned tasks such as but not limited to receive, label, and put away inbound inventory shipments.

job responsibilities:

pull outbound orders, stage pallets, and load outbound shipments. perform cycle counts.

operate forklift truck, pallet jack, and other equipment required for the safe loading, unloading, and transfer of supply components, raw materials, and finished goods

conduct daily safety checks of associated equipment (forklift truck, pallet jack, and other material handling equipment) according to established procedures

additional skills/experience:

must have the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, stand, bend and walk for long periods of time

ability to wear respiratory protection to perform specific tasks 

excellent reading and math skills.

flexibility to work up to 12-hour days (including weekends) on all shifts and overtime is required

ability to operate electric pallet jack or forklift to move materials

prior material movement experience required

previous manufacturing and packaging experience will be considered

demonstrated proficiency in prism and/or dcs computer software applications education

minimum high school diploma or equivalent

preferred 2-year technical degree, prefer mechanical/machine maintenance related. other non-production/manufacturing mechanical experience will be considered
