adecco staffing is working with a manufacturing plant in chester, vt who is looking for an filler machine operator on all shifts! this is a temp-hire position.
hours:
1st: 7:00am –3:30pm monday through friday
2nd: 3:00pm-11:30pm monday through friday
3rd: 11:00pm-7:30am monday through friday
overtime:
available
pay rates:
1st: $16.00/hour
2nd: $18.00/hour
3rd: $18.00/hour
job details:
set-up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot automated machinery in the preparation and production of multiple food products.
receives product from cook/mixers and operates the packaging equipment without compromising the integrity of the product through the entire packing process.
accurately records batch cards and any supporting documentation.
coordinates other line operators, line workers, and agency workers in the operation of the packing equipment from loading of empty containers to palletizing of filled containers.
responsible for the quality of the packing process from appropriate fill levels and specified weights, to proper capping, shrink banding, labeling, and cleanliness of the packed container.
responsible for accurate documentation of quantities of product packed and correctness of blocking patterns on pallets.
responsible for the rate of throughput of the packing line in achieving targeted standards of production
keeps work area tidy and performs routine cleanups.
must know which critical operations to shut down in an emergency.
receive incoming materials, document and report verification of count and condition of product.
accurately input inventory and shipping data into erp system and label incoming stock, utilizing label-printing feature of software.
perform proper product rotation on a first in/first out (fifo) systems
inspect all incoming raw materials and packaging according to standard operating procedures.
keep work area tidy and perform routing cleanups. organize space and execute product flow.
coordinate materials.
verify counts of incoming and outgoing materials and finished products.
pick and prepare orders for shipment while maintaining accuracy.
assist with physical inventories.
maintain proper receiving and shipping paperwork and maintain shipping log.
