Associate product manager - united states, jamestown (new york)
adecco creative & marketing is recruiting for an associate product manager for one of the largest fashion companies! the individual in this role will be assisting their team in building an e-commerce site, and will ideally come from an e-commerce and fashion background.
this contract will go through the end of february, 2023
pay rate is $40/hr
primary purpose:
we are looking for an associate product manager, digital product to join the digital sustainability & innovation team. the associate product manager will be playing an instrumental role in reviewing and analyzing customer journeys to identify friction points, produce actionable insights for data driven decision making. the associate product manager will report to a to senior product manager, and work closely with cross-functional teams from day to day, including but not limit to ux designers, it, analytics, performance team, vendors, business owners, customer service, fulfillment, legal, and finance.
associate product manager responsibilities:
reporting to senior product manager and collaborating with the product development team.
gathering product kpi/metrics, including web analytics, real time product usage replay, consumer trends analysis, and competitor analysis.
partner with ux, analytics, engineering, qa and business partners on feature design and development, including but not limited to product requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
evaluate information received to mitigate conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, translate low-level information to business understanding, and distinguish requests from underlying needs
recording product defects & determining improvements to product features.
preparing project status and risk management reports.
training internal departments on new product features and providing support to customers.
the accomplished individual will possess:
2-4 years of ecommerce business analyst or associate product manager role
customer centric – passion to solve customer friction
excellent written and verbal communication skills—a compelling, impactful storyteller
resourceful, ability to understand that constraints breed creativity, and you thrive in an environment that includes limited resources
ability to quickly understand, simplify, internalize, and communicate complex, technical, or non-technical concepts
collaborative and a passion for digital products - not just the way they work but how they feel to the end user
analytical problem solving and decision-making skills
experience working in scrum/agile management methodologies is a plus
self-directed, resourceful, and adept working in an ambiguous environment
