the commercial market data management team is responsible for all contractual and commercial aspects in the procurement and distribution process for third party data services for the entire rwe group.

the team handles the procurement and administration of all market data services (license required as well publicly available) and acts as single face to the external market.

furthermore, it aggregates all market data requirements across the company and sources this information from the external market with the aim to minimise costs and maximise contractual flexibility of data usage rights.

managing commercial negotiations with relevant market data vendors and exchanges

liaising with the legal department and the business users to ensure favourable commercial terms which meet business requirements and mitigate business risk

ensuring leverage of our global purchasing power with vendors and undertaking proactive management of the global contracts on behalf of all relevant entities

ensuring that all the terms of all global deals are kept up to date and managing the compliance of rwe to any vendor terms and condition

defining and implementing of cost allocation models for global agreements

managing the onboarding of public available data

day to day management of the market data inventory tool (using mdsl)

managing user authorisation and new requests

user administration and permissioning in tableau (market data visualisation tool)

when necessary provide training introductions to new tools

your powerful skills

profound experience in managing market data

deep knowledge of different types of contracts and methods of contraction

at least 3 years of experience in reviewing and negotiate contracts in an market data environment or working for market data vendor

a team player that can work collaboratively and independently

a proficient command of written and spoken english paired with verbal and written eloquence

confident communicator with wide range of audiences like business users representatives at all levels, as well as external parties

excellent command of microsoft office (especially excel)

advantageous, but not a must

experience in using the tools tableau and mds and in purchasing market data
