Equipment maintenance specialist - united kingdom, stevenage, hertfordshire

hobson prior are looking for an equipment maintenance specialist to join a brilliant biotech establishment on a permanent basis located in stevenage. our client is focused on producing innovative immunotherapies for cancer patients.

please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

*key responsibilities: *

* for this position, you will guide the examination, recognition, ordering and sustaining of crucial equipment spares and gears.

* work the company's amicii system to raise pos and sanction invoices once tasks are accomplished.

* guarantee equipment is correctly labelled as per upkeep and standardisation status and is updated as needed post conservation ad standardisation.

* when needed, you will be a part of the company's on-call team for out-of-hours assistance.

* when necessary, you will offer status updates pertinent to equipment upkeep and standardisation in weekly meetings.

* sustain the equipment lifecycle spreadsheet (els) and guarantee it is kept up to date with the latest adjustment and preservation dates.

* when needed, the ideal candidate will transcribe, evaluate and update preservation sops.

* the ideal candidate will adhere to all appropriate company policies, sops and h&s procedures.

* to sustain, calibrate, and mend equipment, you will warrant external engineers are booked in advance as per the els timetable to attend site.

* any other assigned duties.

*requirements:*

* educated to a degree level in an engineering or hnc/d discipline with pertinent experience.

* familiarity operating on the upkeep and calibration of manufacturing/laboratory gear within a gxp setting.

* acquaintance handling ppm actions within a biotech/pharma environment.

* able to offer primary evaluation for any equipment matters to safely detect problems and accelerate repair.

* know-how of health and safety which involves risk examinations.

* past involvement operating within the necessities of a quality management system.

* knowledge of gear lifecycle.
