Part time live out nanny share/childcare required for two families in brockley, se4 - 1st september - united kingdom, brockley, london

hello! we are two families living in brockley, se4, hoping to find childcare that can cover the needs of three girls from september - two aged 4, and one aged 8.

we’re looking for someone warm and loving who is proactive, flexible and willing to fit in with our happy and busy households.

we have both employed nannies previously (one for six and a half years before she left to study full time!), and can provide references from them to confirm that we are good employers.

we need someone who:

has a minimum of three years successful and recent experience with children of similar ages.
has excellent contactable references
has a clean and up to date enhanced dbs check and ideally a paediatric first aid certificate (or is willing to apply/gain one)
likes animals! one family has a dog, one has a cat

responsibilities will include:

local school drop offs (8am starts) and pick ups - school is a 15 minute walk away.
after school care including making a healthy dinner, taking the two younger girls to drama class on a tuesday and supervising homework and a wednesday piano lesson for the older girl.

full daytime care monday - thursday during the majority of school holidays (four weeks in summer, two half terms and one week at easter). the rest of the school holidays (five weeks) will be given as paid annual leave.



our requirements mean that the term time hours of employment (18 per week) are much fewer than the school holiday hours (38 per week). we’re hoping that this might suit someone with varying work or study commitments which overlap with the uk school holiday calendar. we can work out payment on an averaged monthly rate to enable you to receive a consistent income across the year.



subject to discussion we can also offer regular additional hours. for example:

evening babysitting
housekeeping/cleaning

dog walking

we are also very happy to host you at our home during the school day if it is too far to travel home again before picking up the girls.



rates

£15 per hour gross, for care of all three children.

as mentioned above, we can work out payment on an averaged monthly rate to enable you to receive a consistent income across the year. subject to agreement over holiday dates and hours, this would deliver in the region of £1,350 per month (core childcare hours only).
