Logistic clerk bilingual spanish - united states, los angeles

adecco is assisting a local cold storage, freight forwarding client in recruiting for a logistics clerk in the lax area for multiple shifts; working 6 days per week including saturday and sunday. bi-lingual spanish required. this is a long-term, temporary position. this is not a remote position.

available shift:

mandatory 6-day work week including weekends until off peak season

available:shifts:

1st shift   8am-430pm = $17/hr

3rd shift  1am - 0930am = $19/hr

key responsibilities:

data entry

receive/check-in bills of lading in warehouse mgmt. system(wms), communicating with receivers to confirm product received

check in bills of lading (bols)

interface with drivers; enter driver information in wms  complete driver id check

update the outbound log (hard copy and wms)

delivering the shipment in wms; scan and attach awb receipt in wms

ensuring wmh is updated with all paperwork (pre-bol; bol-stamped; packing slip; loading list where applicable; awb; tsa certs/id check; uld container #’s; phytos and noi’s)

customer service

answering phone calls and emails

promptly check on any request from ops make sure they are getting answers asap

communicate any request from ops to warehouse team

inventory

locate all uld containers on hand; match list with physical product; input uld receipts;

alert management of containers that have been in our possession over the allotted airline time frames

any and all other duties assigned by your manager

skills qualifications:

high attention to detail

microsoft office basic proficiency (outlook; excel; word)

use of google spreadsheets

able to work weekends/holidays

ability to meet deadlines and work in fast paced environment
