we are seeking a dynamic, forward thinking senior support worker. you will assist the service manager in leading and developing a team to work in an autism specialist way, which is responsive to the needs of the people we support.

you will have a can do approach and be committed to supporting people in a positive, creative way that enables people to live a fulfilled life. you will demonstrate best practice and be a role model for the team. you will receive ongoing support to ensure your continued professional development and enthusiasm for the role.

an nvq or diploma level 3 qualification in health and social care is desirable, but a genuine passion for providing person centred support is key to being successful in the role of a senior support worker. in return, autism initiatives will provide you with a full induction and ongoing learning to support you to obtain qualifications pertinent to the role. this is a truly rewarding role, with the opportunity to develop your skills, knowledge and your career.

staff are required to work shifts on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends and may also be required to complete sleep ins.

given the nature of the role, these positions are subject to an enhanced dbs disclosure for the successful applicants. the cost of which will be met by autism initiatives.
