we are currently looking for a junior sous chef to join the brigade at this modern take on a traditional british pub near windsor. the kitchen team will constantly strive to develop their ideas, taking inspiration from the best seasonal ingredients on offer from a network of carefully selected local suppliers.

the place

our client is a the first gastro pub opening within an established restaurant group. this site is located on the outskirts of the windsor and will offer a tasting menu, private dining and bedrooms. the pub will offer a relaxed space with fantastic food and drink, focusing on sustainability and local suppliers. the custom designed vegetable garden will be utilised to its full extent within the constantly changing menu.

the junior sous chef will receive:

a competitive guaranteed salary package of £36,000a full time contract for 5 days per week set days off - monday and tuesday and no dinner service on a sundaymostly straight shifts - 48-55 hours per weekfree meals on dutygreat progression opportunities50% staff discount across the restaurant groupstaff away days - visits to breweries, vineyards, farms etc.live in available subject to availability the person

the junior sous chef will have:
