the role is part-time and live-in. it is based on a rota. one week on/2 weeks off. you will need somewhere to stay when not working. relevant experience would be nice, however adaptability and willingness to learn is just as important.
i am a disabled chap with a severe neuro muscular condition. i have complex care needs and require 24/7 support. i am looking for an exceptional carer/ driver to join my team of live-in carers. in practical terms the job covers all daily activities including personal care and tracheostomy care. i need help around the home and with social activities. driving in london is essential.
i am a positive person with a wide range of interests. like most people, i want to live my life in an independent and spontaneous way, on my own terms and according to my own routines and choices. i have had some great experiences with my carers including travel to the states and other countries. i enjoy all things cultural and enjoy dealing with the unexpected challenges that come along when getting out there!
the ideal person will be kind, patient, hard-working with a can-do attitude. hopefully you will be practical and organised. you will also need to be flexible on occasion. i cannot consider an applicant who does not meet the minimum requirements below.

starting pay is based on a daily rate of £250. double time bank holidays. you will also receive a food allowance and holiday pay.
