Job description : company our client is founded by the saudi government to bring all communities together and develop all sectors and fields with innovative solutions. the organization generates over $24 million in sales and has over 850 companies and 700 employees. they are currently looking for a zero emission vehicle transition engineer to be based in saudi arabia. dut ies & responsibilities: engagement with leading construction equipment manufacturers to understand their readiness to supply adequate zero-emission models for testing develop a pilot evaluation concept and execution plan based on tuv sud's pilot concept white paper establish all the pre-conditions of an equipment pilot through coordination with manufacturers, contractors, infrastructure providers and the project organization perform the evaluation of the equipment performance under harsh climate conditions on active construction sites or along (construction) roads. evaluate of the robustness/durability of the technology, efficiencies and other performance related benefits gained as well as emissions saved compared to ice machinery a financial evaluation of the total cost of ownership of the vehicles. - for legacy vehicles, the financial evaluation will include an assessment of purchase costs, operating costs, and the cost of negative environmental impacts - for zero emissions vehicles, the financial evaluation will include the same factors as for legacy vehicles, plus additional costs for the construction of the necessary fueling infrastructure. develop an evaluation report with recommendations for a fleet transition incl. a full business case in connection with d&c's leasing company model qualification & requirements: engineering degree (mechanical, electrical) knowledge of construction vehicles understanding of and experience with vehicle electrification concepts (bev, fcev) understanding tco models fluent english
