the client
my client is one of the uk's leading providers of planned and responsive maintenance services within the social housing sector. due to managing an increased number of properties, they are looking to recruit an experienced and reliable electrician to cover the barnsley region.
the role
you will be working on a social housing contract completing day to day service, breakdown, repairs and maintenance works along with periodic testing and some remedial & installation works in domestic properties. you will be working a minimum of 8 hours per day.
duties
entering tenants' properties
fault finding and diagnosis
accepting 'jobs' via a hand-held pda
day to day electrical repairs and maintenance
periodic test & inspection & remedial works
some installs
requirements
you must have your 18th edition regulations
you must have a valid ecs/jib card
you must have 2391 test & inspection or equivalent 2394 & 2395
you must also have your own tools and a clean driving licence
you must have experience working on day to day repairs and maintenance contracts
